I remember while being a little girl, I believed this world to be such a huge mass. It felt as if I was a tiny speck in the midst of the unknown; and I believed I would continue to feel that way for the duration of my life. Even though, while being taunted by other children, I would respond, "we're sisters and brothers in God's way...", however, I didn't fully understanding the words that fell off of my lips. As, I aged, I must admit that I continued those feelings and it wasn't until a few years ago, that I really began to understand the magnitude of what I believe to be God's plan.
While, evolving (continuously) and removing religion from the equator, I've learned on my spiritual journey that we ALL are inter-connected. I believe, that we were created to learn from one another and to assist in the love, peace and guidance of our fellow siblings. The quote, "each one, teach one" is poignant and rings utter truth; it should not be taken lightly. It is important, however, to be open to receive the light, love and truth. God, resides in EVERY living being--and all every living being desires is love, to be understood and appreciated.
Humans have placed so much emphasis on differences, nationality and ethnicity, when in the greater scheme of things, those very differences are to bring us closer to one another and to help enlighten us. We are supposed to recognize the differences to gain the lesson(s) and friendship. Instead, we notice the differences and allow those to create division, when in fact that is the complete opposite of the unified message that was part of God's plan.
When, I think of all of the various individuals and places here on earth, it reminds me of a well put together quilt. Quilts, are created with random pieces of cloth and thread--with loving hands, hearts and spirits. And, the ultimate outcome produces comfort and warmth to the masses. So, with that said, I challenge everyone to invite someone/something different into his/her realm of "normalcy".
Namaste...
