True Beauty

I'm sitting on the porch, taking in true beauty...it is absolutely plush and green here. The crickets are singing while the birds chirp away, communicating with one another in a language that only they understand, however the beauty can be picked up by anyone that take the time to listen. The wind is whistling, yet it's extremely still. It feels like, true peace and serenity as I've been healed further. I guess I had to come back here to settle business that I didn't know existed, and heal the wounds that were created here, so I can leave them here. My dog, Poppy (who's been affectionately re-nicknamed biscuit) is lying by my feet, also absorbing such radiant beauty. My heart is dancing around in my chest, joyful in this surreal moment. There is a sweet lil, old man riding a shiny, 3-wheeled bicycle with sweet rims, taking his time. He's wise enough to know to slow down the pace to capture all of the beauty that life has to offer. Sometimes, we just need to sit still and learn what TRUE beauty, really is.
